The below extract is the muster for the Parish of Crich only. At the same time a Muster roll of all able men (17,308, but not trained bands or horsemen) in the several hundreds of Derby was made by the petty constables and transmitted by the high constables of every hundred to William, Earl of Devonshire, Lord Lieutenant of the county.  A microfilm copy of this larger list is also held at the National Archive , Reference SP 16/405/ Part 2.
