Mr Walter DAVIDSON, of The Common, Crich, returned on Wednesday in the SS Matiana from Tilbury to Kenya, he was accompanied by his wife and daughter, both of whom will be paying their first visit to East Africa. Mr DAVIDSON, who has had a four months holiday in England, has been in business in Nairobi for over 20 years. Mrs DAVIDSON is the only daughter of the late Mr S. BOWER, a former chief accountant of the Midland Railway. She has long been a member of the Fritchley WI, a member of the Crich Mothers Union, and she has been on the committee of the Girl Guides Association, Crich. Mrs DAVIDSON, who served with the WAAF in the war, has been on the clerical staff at Derby L MS Station.
