Arthur Walker HARRISON
Youngest of the three children of Lewis Walker Harrison and Caroline Froggatt.
Born at Crich, Derbyshire, in 1889 (registered with the name Arthur HARRISON - Walker is not given on the birth registration).
Died at Alvaston, Derby, on the 15th July 1944, aged 55 years.

Enlisted: Bakewell, Derbyshire, on the 18th November 1915

Arthur was invalided out of the forces with appendicitis in June 1917, which required an appendectomy. For a number of years after the war ended, Arthur made claims for a disability pension on account of gastritis which was claimed to have been aggravated by his war service. Arthur had been serving on garrison duty abroad, but was admitted to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester in June 1917.
