Source: Simon Johnson (relative) George Cowlishaw was born at Coddington, Crich, on the 11th May 1899. He was the sixth of the twelve children of George Cowlishaw and Selina Henson (two of whom died in infancy). He died at Derby in 1978. He is a cousin of George Henry Henson and Norman Henson, who are also listed on the Roll of Honour. 1901 Census: Coddington
