Enlisted 20/10/14; Demob 19/03/19; 20% allowance due to knee injury; single; age at 23/12/19 was 25 years; enlisted at Belper; PoW at K33 Munster, Germany in October 1916 whilst engaged in blasting a stone fell upon knee, he reported sick but was not allowed to see a doctor, he continued at work until sent to HP at Munster, 4 months after which was engaged at Sleltice (?) Power Station at Du?berg and from there was? and demobilized 19 Feb 1919 at Grantham; operated on in Germany 23/11/16; address Temple Brewer, Wellingore, Lincs; served in France 13 months; PoW in Germany 2 years 4 months; injury to left knee caused by fall of roof in German mines; hospital Munster II Rinbharo; last employer was Mrs V Taylor, The Mount, Crich; occupation was farmer; aged 20 years 3 months at enlistement on 20/10/14; embarked Southampton for Rouen 25/6/15; reported missing in the field 8/7/16; next of kin William Burr (father) Temple Brewer, Wellingore, Lincs; discharged under KR Para 392 (XVI) 11/6/19
