Jesse Barratt was son of James Barratt and Louisa (née Colburn).

Died 13-jun-1949 He married Sarah Ann Perry (in Late 1913 at Crich) Jessie Barratt and Sarah Ann settled in Fritchley before moving to South Wingfield, Derbyshire, Where they farmed. Jessie died on 13th June 1949 in Tansley. Sarah Ann died on 28th July 1980 they are both buried Tansley Derbyshire. Willie Barratt was the manager of Eckington Co-op in the early 1940s.
